About the Journal

Bulletin of Management and Business (BMB) is a national, peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (March and October) by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Management Study Program, Universitas Widyagama Malang, Indonesia. The journal provides a platform for disseminating original research articles, conceptual papers, and case studies in the fields of management and business, with a particular emphasis on contextual and practical insights relevant to Indonesia and the global academic community.

BMB publishes contributions across a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

Open Access Policy

BMB is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available to readers without charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose without prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

To support the costs of editorial processing, DOI registration, and long-term archiving, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 350,000 upon acceptance of their manuscript. There are no submission fees. The APC is non-refundable and is charged only after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and been formally accepted for publication.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which allows others to share and adapt the work with appropriate attribution to the original author and source.

Archiving Policy

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, ensuring long-term preservation and access to the journal content.

Sponsorship Disclosure

BMB is supported by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Widyagama Malang. Apart from the APC, the journal receives no additional sponsorship, and there are no hidden fees.

Journal History and Accreditation

Since its establishment, BMB has served as a key platform for academic exchange in the management and business fields in Indonesia. The journal is nationally accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, and is indexed in SINTA (Science and Technology Index) with SINTA 5 accreditation.
