Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

General Requirements

  1. Font & Formatting
    • Articles must be typed in Times New Roman font.
    • Paper size: A4, with the following margins:
      • Top: 3 cm
      • Left: 4 cm
      • Right: 3 cm
      • Bottom: 3 cm
  2. Originality & Publication Ethics
    • Submitted manuscripts must be original and have not been published or simultaneously submitted to other media or journals.
    • Articles must follow a consistent writing style throughout.
    • All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.
    • All authors must be listed, with complete and accurate contact information (address, phone number, and email).
  3. Length & Language
    • Manuscripts must not exceed 10 pages in length.
    • Articles may be written in English or Indonesian. However, all manuscripts must include abstracts in both English and Indonesian.
  4. Submission Format
    • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (soft copy).
    • Articles must be paginated sequentially.
    • Manuscripts should be submitted at least 2 months prior to the intended publication issue.
  5. Scope & Focus
    • Manuscripts must fit within the journal’s focus on management and business studies, which includes conceptual ideas, empirical studies, applied theory, literature reviews, book reviews, and relevant practical contributions.

Article Structure and Writing Standards

Title

  • The title should be written in Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, and single-spaced.
  • Use full names of authors (no abbreviations or nicknames).
  • Author names should be followed by their institutional affiliations.

Abstract

  • The abstract should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced, and must not exceed 200 words.
  • It should include a brief description of the objectives, methods, results, implications, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Keywords (3–5 words) should appear in a single line below the abstract.

Main Content

  • Manuscripts should be typed in Times New Roman, 12 pt, single-spaced, and presented in essay format, divided into relevant section headings, except for the introduction which is presented without a heading.
  • Headings must follow this hierarchy:
    • Level 1: ALL CAPS, left-aligned, bold
    • Level 2: Capitalize Each Word, left-aligned, bold
    • Level 3: Sentence case, left-aligned, bold
  • The structure may follow Quantitative or Qualitative methodology formats (attached separately).

In-text Citations

  • Citations must include the author’s name and year:
    • Single author: Wilber (2000)
    • Two authors: Weston and Copeland (2002)
    • More than two authors: Moh’d et al. (2001)

Tables and Figures

  • Figures (graphs, sketches, photographs, histograms) must include a source, figure number, and title, placed below the figure. Text in figures should use 10 pt font size.
  • Tables must include a source, table number, and title, placed above the table. Text in tables should use 10 pt font size.

References

  • The reference list should contain only references cited in the text, arranged alphabetically and chronologically.
  • References must be formatted with a hanging indent and follow the APA Style (7th Edition).
  • Example format:
