Journal History

Based on the ISSN Publishing Decree No. 0005.27222373/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2020.05 issued by LIPI (Indonesian Institute of Sciences), Bulletin of Management and Business (BMB) officially began publication in March 2020 under the ISSN 2722-2373.

In Volume 1, Issue 2 (October 2020), BMB underwent a template revision that has since been adopted as the standard format for all subsequent publications. Starting from Volume 2, Issue 1 (March 2021), the journal expanded its publication capacity from five articles per issue (three external and two internal) to ten articles per issue (seven external and three internal).

The chronological development of BMB is as follows:

  • March 2020 – Indexed in Google Scholar.
  • October 2020 – Implementation of a new article template.
  • March 2021 – Indexed in GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital).
  • March 2021 – Increased publication quota from five to ten articles per issue.
  • March 2021 – Introduced a publication fee policy for both internal and external authors.
  • March 2023 – Implemented the 2023 article template update, which is currently in use.

Through these milestones, BMB has continuously improved its editorial standards, publication capacity, and indexing visibility to better serve the academic community in management and business studies.

Publication Fee

Bulletin of Management and Business (BMB) is an open access journal that disseminates original research, theories, and best practices in the field of management and business to a global audience. The journal has been accredited in SINTA 5 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

To support the editorial, peer review, DOI registration, and archiving processes, the journal charges the following Article Processing Charges (APCs):

  • Internal Authors: IDR 300,000
  • External Authors: IDR 350,000

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and been accepted for publication. There are no submission fees.
